Subject Matter Tutoring & Writing Assistance
The Academic Success Center (ASC) provides face-to-face and some online assistance in a variety of subject areas.
Types of Tutoring
Five types of tutoring are available for MNU students through the ASC: designated walk-in tutoring, small group tutoring, tutoring by appointment, and workshops, and online drop-off writing support. The subject, course, and tutors’ availability determine the type of tutoring offered. Because the ASC team realizes the need for support at all times of the day (and night), professional tutoring is available 24/7 via NetTutor (Live tutor subject hours may vary).
The Academic Success Center has received certification as a Level 1 tutor training program from the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).
