In 1966 the North Central Church of the Nazarene Board of Trustees was called to found MidAmerica Nazarene University—then MidAmerica Nazarene College. The Church of the Nazarene continues to provide leadership and direction through financial support and student recruitment.
PK Retreat
February 17-19, 2023
Join regional Pastor’s Kids, grades 7 – 12, for a weekend of fun and team building activities. This event is hosted by the North Central Field NYI and MidAmerica Nazarene Univeristy. All activities take place on the MNU campus and the surrounding KC area.
Activities include:
- Small Groups
- Guest speakers
- Worship band
- KC event
- Open Gym

Stephanie is a Nazarene pastor, and MNU alum. She has served the church through pastoring, both in local churches and as a university campus pastor, writing, and speaking.
Stephanie is wife to Tommy and mom to JoJo and Jack.

At MidAmerica Nazarene University, we’re helping you answer THE CALL, equipping high school juniors and seniors for a lifetime of Christian ministry. The CALL is a one week youth theology institute featuring daily individual and corporate worship, theological training, Biblical instruction, service learning, and a little fun designed to equip high school juniors and seniors preparing for a lifetime of Christian ministry.
YES Conference
YES Conference is for any high school student who is willing to step into the adventure of discovering who
God has created them to be and all He has created them to do.
It is for those brave individuals who wrestle with questions like, “What am I supposed to do with my life?”
“How do I know what God’s plan for me is?” “How can I impact my world?”
It’s for those who are interested in business, law, medicine, education, pastoral ministry, mechanics and
everything else in between. It’s also for those who have no idea what they are interested in, but who desire to find out.
North Central Field PK Retreat
February 16-18, 2024
Cost: $75
This event is for 7th-12th grade Pastor’s Kids to experience a weekend of fun, food and fellowship with PK’s from seven different states!

Check in for this event begins at 7pm on Friday February 16 at Holiday Inn Express and Suites Olathe South, and ends Sunday, February 18 at 1pm in the Hight Student Lounge of Cunningham Center at MNU.
